Sealed

Sealed is built local-first. Your day — your sets, your meals, your Health signals, your seals — lives on your phone. This page says exactly what ever leaves it, and it's a short page.

On your device, and only there

Your plan, workouts, logged sets, training notes, meals and supplements.
Everything read from Apple Health (steps, sleep, workouts and any signals you choose). Health data is read on-device with your permission and is never transmitted anywhere.
What Sealed writes back to Apple Health, if you let it (WRITE TO APPLE HEALTH in Settings, on by default): your workouts, ticked meals as dietary energy and macros, a ticked glass of water as water, and the measurements you log. That's a copy into your own Health app, on your phone — nothing else sees it, and you can switch it off at any time.
Your full day history and every sealed day.
The food table behind a meal's maths (the UK's CoFID data) is bundled inside the app. If you scan a barcode, the barcode number alone is sent to Open Food Facts — a public, non-profit food database — to look the product up. Nothing about you goes with it, and the answer is kept on your phone so the next scan asks nobody.

No account is needed for any of this. If you never touch the pact, Sealed sends nothing at all.

If you join a pact

The pact — sealing alongside one partner — is optional and needs an account, created with Sign in with Apple. When you use it, we store:

Your display name (the name you choose — never your email; we use Apple's private sign-in and don't ask for it) and, if you set one, your profile photo, visible only to your partner.
Your daily result when you seal: the date, the percentage earned, and whether you beat your plan. Never the detail behind it — no sets, no meals, no Health data.
Your pact membership — who you're paired with, by invite code you share yourself — and the short messages and pumps you send each other inside it.
Your weekly review — once a week, a summary of your sealed results (percentages, lifts by name and weight, and any training notes you wrote) is sent to Anthropic's Claude to write your review. Only the finished words are kept. No Health data is included.

This is stored with Supabase in the EU (Ireland) and is visible only to you and your pact partner. Sealed days can never be edited — by you, by your partner, or by us.

Subscription

Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your card, your address or your Apple ID email. Your subscription status is read from Apple on your phone and is not stored on our servers.

What we don't do

No advertising, no trackers, no selling or sharing of data.
No third-party analytics.
No location, no contacts, no photos of your food.

Deleting your data

Settings → HOLD TO DELETE ACCOUNT (at the foot of the page) deletes your account and everything stored on our servers — profile, photo, pact memberships, messages, reviews and all synced day results — immediately and permanently. Your local data stays on your phone; deleting the app removes that too.
